I have exactly the same issue, and i'm not sure what the answer is just yet
I had an unexpected quit yesterday, which is normally REALLY unusual, but i'm on a brand new system here (Dual 2.5 G5, Digi 002).
I'd ask on the Digi forum, but i'm running (the unsupported) OSX 10.3.5.
It does seem that nobody has much good to say about Sampletank though.....
