They are just excuses,it's just that you don't really like what you have heard. If you like your idle-chatter (I beg your pardon : 'sober,fun discussion') then go on. I have as much right to say what I think as anyone.
I'll add another thing about,and then I am done here (it takes too much time) : you would not have the guts to go to Malmsteen (or whoever did achieve anything of value in his life) and tell him straight in his face all the 'sober fun' that you think of him. Am I correct?
Understand,I am not saying that you cannot joke about him. But the jokes seems a way to highlight all the bad points only,without any of the very real good ones. I am no Master Of The Universe and I can only speak for myself;I would believe that the same applies to you and anyone else. I don't really care that much,it could be Malmsteen or whoever I hold some respect for,as a guitar player. I am merely saying that these forums is where you would rather tell the fun .
I bet all my guitars that it would be too uncomfortable for any of you to tell the fun in his face without hearing your voice's tremors. Not to mention your guitar's
