No - you're not alone.
Fabulous little mixer (for the price).
That and the Fostex Model 80 was a really great little home studio setup that was capable of excellent results in the right hands.
Yes indeedy, and I stil have both! (although the Seck sits at the back of the studio replaced by a B***** MX8000, which to my ears DOES NOT have the bottom end of the Seck. That 45Hz low EQ is a killer. If only it had 24 channels , 6 sends and 6 stereo aux returns I would never have stopped using it!

Lots of Ataris which keep on going, 12 Kurzweil 1000 modules, a bunch of hardware synths. Still recording to tape -the old ways are best.....
