Hi Everyone, thanks for your help. I will try changing the way my firewire stuff is plugged in. At the moment I have the Firebox on one bus and my hard drive on the 800mhz bus. I will try daisy chaining them with the firebox first on the 400mhz bus.

My machine is a 2.66 iMac with 4 Meg ram running Leopard. I did have problems on my 1.8 dual G5 but they seemed to iron themselves out.
