Very basic question: 24 to 16 bit conversion

Hi - Apologies that this is so basic, but I'm using an old version of Logic Audio (Gold 4.0), which requires 16-bit wave files to play them properly. However, I have a 24-bit wav file of a recorded guitar part I've received, and of course I can't play the file or import it into Logic. Is there anything I can do to convert the file to 16-bit, or find some way to be able to import it into Logic? Many thanks.
