Stylus RMX (weird?) midi problem. Help needed.

I've got 5 different sounds(sound menus) loaded in Stylus RMX(Cubase SX3), channels 1-5, and for some reason all of them suddenly only respond to midi-channel 1. Shouldn't they match midi-channels 1-5? Now everything is now one big mess.
The only work around I can think of is to solo all of the parts one by one and then export them one at a time as audio, but that's not what I had in mind.
I remember everything running properly on my old PC. Could the culprit be my new machine?
