i'm in a (sort of) similar pickle at work over a choice of software - on the one hand i need to learn to use some new kit, on the other, i can bash the work out quicker on the older kit.

i think you should work this one out based on the timeframe available - do you have time to train up in Logic, while still completing the work required ? if so, go for Logic - that way you kill two birds with one stone - and you avoid the Cubase 4/5 issue.

if not, it's only fair to the guy paying that you do the work in the quickest way available - which sounds like the Cubase route.
