Elf I'd be very interested to hear your opinion on the Slate samples. I own the premium pack and while the samples sound really nice when you listen to them on their own, I find that within a mix they tend to sound very slappy and small.
I tend to mix Interpol/Pearl Jam type material so it's not as if my mix is overwhelmed with complicated parts or layers, but I'm finding that trying to get the samples to maintain their punch and 'largeness' is quite difficult. At times it's also quite difficult to marry the samples to live overheads when using the gog replacements.

Just my experiences, I'd be interested to hear what you think,
