The reason being; we've recently played a gig at The Cavern in Liverpool which we filmed. Unfortunately we were unable to take a direct line out of the desk so are having to make do with the sound the cameras captured. It's actually not too shabby but to tweak it and make it sound that little bit better I've been tinkering with it in the studio all day, layering guitar and things on it and re recording instruments that haven't come out to well. This is working well but the vocals are starting to get a bit buried under the touch ups I'm adding. I want to use the original vocals as much as possible and not re record those in studio so I was wondering if there's a way I could put a copy of the camera's audio on a separate track and Process or EQ as much of the music out and leave it as close to just vocals as possible. I've come across things that take out vocals and leave music and I wondered if the opposite was possible?
Thanks for your suggestions.
