About four years ago now, I sent a long and frankly rather pleading email as a long time fan of the old GS3000 asking if Allen and Heath were ever planning to make a version for the digital age.

Looking at this I'd be in gear geek heaven! A combo of Z series features and GS3000 features with inbuilt conversion and control surface. Add a few pieces of choice second hand outboard and if the conversion quality has been gotten right this would be the mutts nuts for a analogue / DAW combo writing studio for a band, say.
