Wow - this is indeed a revelation.
Windows tweaks can reduce audio clock jitter, and hence the audible effects of DAC error correction

Hey buddy, today I've tried the complete-released Windows 7 SP1.
In my personal case for my own system, it really load all thing faster and process faster even faster than when i had just brandnew-installed the native retailed windows 7 after formated.
And i can heard the sound become a little more solid and detailed.
I would please to hear about your own try too here
try it man![]()
the original retail version of windows 7 is "7600" and the SP1 would be "7601"

At the risk of being labelled patronising and spoiling the fun, a couple of words of advice...
Some of the posters here are using irony (Google it if you're not sure what that means). Several of the people contributing are either actively involved in the manufacture of, and tuning of, specialist audio PCs and others are acknowledged UK experts in the field of IT for audio. You're not saying anything that they - and many of those reading your posts - don't already know.
Your enthusiasm is great and your willingness to share is encouraging - but maybe it's time to come to a halt here.
In friendship. Mike
