Steve, I will check later the Hardware you talked about, though I have only one hardware Roland Synth. I use Cubase but presume it will function as Logic.
I do have Kontakt sampler and also other synths(got Komplete 5+6 upgrade).
The AX50 sounds good, it's smaller as you all said and on the other half rack I can put my presonus firebox which is half rack too. There was an ad. for an AX50 for 200€ on an Italian web for musicians but the guy told me he sold it today Glad to hear they are sold in Ebay often, In Italy they are not so easy to find (the 100 is easier but normally is sell with the pickup which I don't need).
BTW do you have any idea if the PU100 pickup can be used for a 4 string electric mandolin???

Pagan-nini was recorded at 2001 with amplified violin, jawsharp, some effects and samples but now finally I have the midi violin - so got new horizons to discover
