I would encourage you to have an open mind about having a new one. A 'pre loved' acoustic might not only be far better value for money than a new one but it will also have had a chance to open up a bit. Show its true colours. £1300 buys a lovely guitar, new or played in, so I hope you will be thrilled with your final choice when you've found it.
