Hi all. I tried Reaper a fair while ago and whilst I love the principal I didn't like it quite enough to embark on the required learning curve (my fingers have a decade of Cubase learning in them). This said, a lot of the Reaper plugins look to be rather clever and I'm wondering how users think they stack-up sonically against other included plugs and against 3rd party commercial options. I know I can download an eval version but I'd welcome any initial thoughts from anyone who's lived with them for a while and who regularly uses them in anger.
