We could go through a clean install of Windows, a replacement hard drive, maybe a new power supply... But this computer runs XP, so can we assume it's quite old? As it's been giving trouble, you must have backups of all your work? Is it time to move on?

I've spent far too much time and energy over the years reviving older computers. A new one is so inexpensive...
