I am using xp but it doesnt like to share the files and somehow thought that 98 was better and slicker at this as it was more primitive and maybe back then the multiple file open may work and less restricted, as the old sonic foundry days had the direct mode which was taken out after about 2001!

Is it a case of installing 98 and seeing if it shares files by chance?

I did use to use 98se with sf and it was great
