MOTU 828 - Sound Problem in Logic Pro 8

Hello,

Does anyone know why I can't hear the samples in the Media, Loops window on the right before I've copied them to the main window to use in my mix? When I play/preview them, I can see a level on the MOTU 828 for outputs 1-2 but I'd like to hear them through 9-10.

The main outs are assigned to 9-10, headphones to 11-12 etc. etc. which is fine and I can have separate outputs on separate tracks for independent monitor mixes etc.

When I plug an M-Box 2 in instead of the MOTU 828, there are only 2 outputs so I can preview the samples.

Please could someone tell me what I've set up wrong, or not set up?
