The company that dealt with our network placed the driver (UM-1G) on the network and all our keyboards worked fine. A further 6 units were bought to finally get all our keyboards hooked up but I discovered that Roland have discontinued the UM-1G, meaning the UM2G is what was delivered. These run on a different driver unfortunatly.
Now I have been trying to install the driver on through the local admin on each of the 6 individual units that require the driver. It states that the driver is installed but when I look at Audio/MIDI setup window the UM2g doesnt show and the keyboard isn't recognised. I have tried flicking 'Advance driver' on and off, unplugging and plugging in the USB and switching on and off the keyboard.
Will the fact that the driver for the exsisting UM1G is installed cause a clash with what I am trying to do?
Hope this all makes sense?!
