Lots! Because I would know that an SM57 at a foot or so would drive the AI easily on speech since under those conditions the output voltage is around 160microvolts and all other common dynamics are about the same or about 6dB better. I would also know that an SM7B (slurp!) would be a bit on the low side and most ribbons even worse.
You have in fact given out exactly what we need to know. Will the AI be sensitive enough to handle most dynamic mics in near worse case conditions, speech and say acoustic guitar? Sure, the reviewer could just plug one in and tell us but they don't.
