My uncle grows award winning rhubarb and we were round there yesterday and went into the larger of the two greenhouses. Quite by chance we discovered that this space posesses the most incredible natural reverb. Possibly due to a combination of plants, slabbing and an array of hefty rhubarb forcers (teracotta pots). Today we went round and recorded some guitar and the results were, to say the least, very pleasing.
I hope to sample the ambience of the space and incorporate it into my unique sound.
What serendipitous sound discoveries have you guys experienced?
