BRS - Bakers Rights Society
I am the Assistant Decorator of the Bakers Rights Society, and I would just like to point out a disturbing trend up and down the Tea Rooms of the country.
It seems that live bakers are being forced to "Pay to Bake" if they want to be in front of an audience, while talentless Cake Jockeys are paid hundreds a night to pull other peoples cakes out of the oven.
If your a live baker we can put pressure on the venues to stop this practice and also recoup a costs for everytime your cakes are eaten in a public place.
Please sign up to the BRS.

Welcome to the SOS Forums Mr. Sponge!

I'm afraid though that I don't personally support the practices of the Bakers Rights Society since they starting contacting shops up and down the land saying they needed a license to use the enticing smells of bakery products to encourage customers into their shops to buy other items.
Not all bakers are members of your society, and it's highly annoying to those that aren't that are being penalised in this way. I sell cakes direct to a variety of shops, and am quite happy for the aromas of my cakes to be used in this way by shopkeepers - after all, they may buy one of my cakes as a result!
However, I object to my shopkeepers getting phone calls from the BRS saying they have to have an official license to do so
