Ipad app - dislay song lyrics/song sheets

I have just bought an Iklip as i want to utilise my ipad more (or should i say stop my mrs from using my ipad for just playing bloody cards or reading them stupid poinless book things)
when we are out gigging she is a bugger for not learning songs and resorts to a folder on a music stand, and to be honest i forget the odd chord. this is cumbersome, songs are hard to locate and the folder falls off sometimes
so what processes and apps are best for doing just that. I suppose i would have to tweak any down loaded lyrics/chords to match any of our arrangements like i do in word at the moment.
convert to PDF and use a PDF reader?
