AudioCubes - For live performance

Dear All,

Looking for help and advice on a relatively new AV technology that my music composition son likes the look and feel of. He has reasonable MIDI skills but to me, these items seem to be too limiting in their application - or am I missing something?

Q1: Has anyone here used these AudioCubes (AV midi devices, not the monitors)? Are they useful?

Q2: If any users out there - would starting off with one or two cubes be practical?

Would have thought SOS would have picked up on these for a review or news comment at least. But nothing - which further dampens my interest.

Thanks for any advice or comments.
