I’ve got CME’s UF8 and it works fine with a Yamaha breath controller -I just plugged it in and started blowing

However, before we go into any further detail, can we make sure that you realise that breath controllers by default output MIDI controller #2 data?

Sure you can reallocate this, but is controller #2 data reaching Pro Tools?

Oh, and SC - in my experience the problems with CME tend to be with the USB MIDI connection, so I simply use the UF8 standard MIDI out, and everything’s hunky dory. I like the action, the aftertouch, and the overall feel as much as I did when I originally reviewed it for SOS way back in August 2005:
