Control Surfaces

On my list of changes to the studio this year is to replace my decrepit and Cubase-only Houston with something a little more modern. I'm just curious as to what other people use / suggest. I would quite like to have something tactile to use when controlling both Cubase4 and Logic9 (on OSX 10.5 and 10.6 respectively). Have I missed something obvious? Or should I just bite the bullet and blow out on a Euphonix..? Are people still buying Mackie Controls?

All info / comments welcome....
Control surfaces? How about .....
You may choose only one
Avid / Euphonix MC Mix and Control combo - to hell with the cost : you're worth it
Mackie Control Pro + Extender - it may be old, but it's still valid
Nah .. you want one of them keyboard with knobs and buttons like the Novation and M-Audio controllers
Behringer cheap and cheerful bcf range - why pay more..?
Stop being such a damned woossie and use a mouse and keyboard like a real man! You'd only be wasting money so that you can claim it's a 'real' studio as it has knobs and sliders...
