If so I would think the box could be adapted to work with any 4 in 4 out analogue system? Even if not a similar breakout box for another card/AI would be a fairly simple DIY project. I have one for my two 2496's and have just finished one to faciltate plugability with a 4track open reel machine in and out of a NI K6.

Hi Dave - actually, the Delta 66 is connected not to the standard breakout box, but to something called the Omni I/O Studio. In this case it's connected to this: http://www.m-audio.com/images/global/manuals/Omni_i-O_Manual.pdf . It has Aux Ins/Outs, a preamp, Inserts, 20dB pads, 2 headphones outs, Main/Monitor outs, etc. It has saved me having to buy a real mixer ... but I know one day I'll have to.
