Newbie question: will ADAT cause me clocking issues?

I'm about to record a big band this afternoon with a Fireface. A friend has lent me a Focusrite 8-channel preamp and an ADAT optical cable. Is there anything I need to know in terms of clocking? Is it possible to set the Fireface as the clock source when there's only one ADAT cable coming in (i.e. nothing going back out to the Focusrite)?
