A quick google suggests you are right and that it's a memory issue. Came across one
sensible sounding suggestion which is that you could try re-seating the memory cards (on
our Macbook the memory Dimms can be easily taken out and replaced, dunno about the Pro,
but I assume that's likely the same). Other than that taking it back for warranty repair
does sound like a good move.
