I just need an interface, monitors (amp dependant on monitors), headphones, midi keyboard, and a mic to start with.
And not to sound rude, but I'm sure I've already stated that I know what I'm doing when I'm sat down in front of a DAW and such equipment. I've been self studying in this area since I was 17 (this is information for you, not me being boastful), it's not exactly new to me. So why all the talk that I need to learn the basics before you can offer me any help? I know the basics, I know more than the basics, I just lack the equipment to do anything about it. I have basically dedicated the last 5 years (once again, not boasting) of my life to studying as much as I can about audio editing and recording and putting it into practice. so I'm somewhat confused with your responses. And I have already covered 99.9% of the articles on this site in my own spare time and at work in the last 6 months+
