Well, in your opinion, at least.... This narrow definition is so blatantly ridiculous, and so easily proven wrong by choosing examples from multiple genres of music history, that it's enough to make anyone with even an ounce of common sense burst out laughing.
Well I'm not talking about 'multiple genres' or 'music history'. The OP wants his music to be successful now or in the immediate future in a particular genre of music. I'm not talking about stockhausen or john cage. Further reading.
