mid side routing on desk. have i got it right?

Hello: can someone out there say if i got this right in my head and therefore on the mixer (a digital workstation)

I am multitracking choirs and a small vocal group. X8 mics in total, with a mixdown to stereo for CD. Is the stereo bus i mix all tracks down to....the stereo channels referred to in decoding Mid-Side data?

I intend to copy the side mic to another track and pair those two tracks and phase reverse the right track then pan left/right accordingly......on mixdown these will go to main stereo bus. The Mid mic track will stay in mono...be sent to the stereo bus on mixdown with centre panning.

i have essentially sent x3 mono tracks to the stereo bus albeit 2 of them acting as a stereo pair.

am i good to go?
