As a general setting it may be worth considering a digital EQ (Behringer do several, of course) which can save presets for instant recall depending on the system setup. This is not a cure all (there isn't really one) but might save repetition in some circumstances.

Hangovers... this one was well earned. It's not really funny, there was karaoke involved.
