Aurovine -- UK rival to Bandcamp

There's a new download/streaming site now up called Aurovine. It's been put together by some UK guys. It works along the same lines as Bandcamp, your album or track gets streamed in full at 128kbps, and people can buy downloads of it in 320kbps format, or a FLAC or even a wav. Bands can customise their own page to some degree, and they get a subdomain URL.

My only connection with it is that I volunteered to help beta-test it with my band (I did slightly know of the guy running it, he runs a small label and a prog festival). The beta-test went fine, it all seems to be working, and it was officially launched last night.

If you don't like streaming sites like Bandcamp then you won't like it. If you do, it's worth considering. (And only time will tell what it does to our sales.)
