Re: TC Electronic Nova System

Hi Chris,

How are you finding the HT-Dual? I have had a few problems with mine, two channels getting switched on and the only way to turn them off was unplugging! Might just be my unit.

I think you highlight the best and the worst of the Nova system, it is so versitile and it sounds so great, it fits in easily into a more complex set up. (I have had the FCB1010 for years and years, first to control my JMP-1 and TC G-Major, and now possibly to control our lighting set up and I think it would be fantastic addition to use with the Nova (although a massive footboard!!), it is great that you can set it for channel switching.) But on the downside you loose the Drive and Compressor, which I really like (along with the delay). I think as I alluded to in the video that for the most fantastic system ever you could simply buy 2 nova systems, one in front and one in the loop, and you would still be well short of the cost of a G-System

I am currently going straight into a Blues Junior III (bad back at the mo...must be getting old!) and the Nova sounds great (no loop on the BJ III), the drive works so well, I am just holding back on the delays etc.

Must come and see you guys play sometime as you are local!!

Neil

A very useful update!
