Indeed, there seems to be a bug in the forum software that sometimes does this.
Thanks, I agree. I go on this forum becuase I know people know their stuff!
It just frustrates me when people treat a genuine post as a stupid one. The more it happens the less I want to ask for advice in the future. I'm a professional musician and I'd appreciate it if people didn't reply to posts as if I'm the stupid one!

I fail to see how a couple of mildy trite posts have riled you so much. Nobody has called you names, nobody's has belittled you... In fact the only communique even owned at you was Elf having a jest that because a few cables existed you had to go and spend money like it was burning a hole in your pocket!!
