I MD for a singer songwiter who has used a Roland RD1000 for years and is reluctant to
change - this is making touring more problematic (except in Japan where they seem to have
limitless supply of older stuff, all looking like it has just come out of the box for the
first time). Anyone know how the RD700 compares soundwise to the RD1000. I also use the
MKS20 when on-stage with this singer as the it is the modular version, and have no problem
using a diferent module if necessary, but the singer does need the visual security blanket
of the RD1000.
