Modern synths are quite nice, but classic stuff seems to have more soul for me,
i have a dark energy, that is nice,i also have an alesis micron, this is ok but
doesent sound nice in the way an analog synth sounds, the older kit i have had sounded
much nicer, like a sc pro-1, there are good points for the new stuff,like control,
older stuff tends to sound more alive!.

both are good and mixing them together is the best way to go
