First of all, I excuse myself for asking what may be a dumb question...my apologies..
Anyway, I am trying to record a simple audio (electric guitar) track in Cubase 5 using Cubase's metronome (click) to keep me in time. I select an audio file, record the guitar track and can hear the guitar and metronome clicking away happily. So far so good..
The problem is, on playback (having turned off 'click' before playing back) on top of the guitar recording, I can still hear the metronome, and can't lose it (it's just as loud as when I was recording the guitar track, so it's not as if the click sound is leaking through headphones). I am guessing the issue is somewhere within VST Connections, or some mapping settings, but having tried to trouble-shoot this one, I'm not getting very far.
Can anyone help me with what is probably an obvious question?
Many thanks. Much appreciated.
