Beige G3 333 and ADAT help

Hi. I'm about to have the use of 2 old Alesis blackface ADATs for a project with a live band. I've never used one before. However. I have an old G3 mini tower, running 8.6 & 9.1, upgraded to 333, with an old emagic Audiowerk pci card. Will I be able to synch the adats up to the mac via midi (I'm running a basic version of logic, or cubase 24)? I'm assuming that the spdif on this card won't see more than 2 tracks at a time. Also, what leads will I need to synch the 2 adats together. Many thanks...I'm a bit of a traditional sound engineer, so any help/advice would be appreciated.
