Re: Rearranging & extending an audio file in Cubase SX

Is it me or is SX a lot more difficult to create loops with than wavelab?

What I like doing sometiems is creating a smooth loop from parts of a track. In wavelab this is realtively easy to do, highlight the section to loop an dclick the loop pllayback button. The difficult part is choosing the begining and end of the loop so that the join is not noticeble. Wavelab allows me move the start and end points in real time while the loop plays.

With cubse I haev to set the region to loop the match the region in the audio track. I spent ages on friday trying to loop a bit of atrack that in wavelab was done in minutes.

Now, I could chop up the track in wavelb and then piece it back together in SX but this is frought with problems.

Am I missing something, or is there a feature like this in SX that I ned to read up on. Do I have to delve in to that pile of papers called the manual. if so, where abouts?
