Martin - I'd say that you are looking in the wrong places. That system that you link to is almost certainly going to be total rubbish if it is anything like similar looking systems that I've heard.

Mark is also in Australia so the better modern Carlsbro stuff is known as Soundking (and possibly other names) in his country. I've never been very impressed by Peavey speakers although their amps and mixers are usually OK.

Buying used is a good suggestion though - decent PA gear lasts for many years but a scruffy looking pair of decent speakers will often fetch very little money.
