no - that's defo a "stretch" on Avids part. It sounds as good/bad as any other time
stretcher. Pitch n time pro from serato is better. Elastic audio is great for drums - but
that's because it isn't just stretching them - it's retiming from cut points. Using BD IS
better - but it's a different thing. I've used elastic audio to re-conform a movie
soundtrack element against the picture when it needs shunting and slowing a little and
it's pretty excellent.
Extreme stuff ALWAYS has artifacts.
