People like Seablade and Ben Loftis will defend Mixbus at every turn and I respect them for that.
Why? Harrison are selling a dysfunctional product and, additionally, make false claims about its sonic properties. Their conduct is despicable.
I want to drop this because it's not worth arguing but then I also don't want newbies to come along and be misguided by vitriolic rhetoric. So here's a more balanced view:
On the one hand, Tui calls Harrison and their product 'despicable' and 'dysfunctional'.
On the other hand, Sound on Sound summarise the pros of Mixbus as: 'True recreation of a top console. Extremely flexible DAW. Great price.' (The cons are no MIDI and Mac-only)
Let's leave it at that and let people choose whose advice they take...
