1 - Im not moaning. Im pointing out how much a Jupiter 5 is now worth when just 4 years ago or less they were worth £1500.
That was 4 years ago, not now. Since i know some people who are involved with Roland's R&D. They told me for Roland to make a new Jupiter-8 with all it's analogue discrete circuitry, it would cost a whopping £10'000 or $15'000 equivalent.
So what would you rather pay - £5k or £10k.
The price of JP-8's are going to increase anyway, not come down. CS-80's are already at top premium s/h prices of £10k+.
If you want a cheaper Jupiter, you go for either a JP-4 or JP-6. Or you buy a Juno or JX for the even cheaper options.
As for your paypal account, you'll be waiting a long long time
