Eiosis ELS Vocoder - side chain problems?

I'm trying to route a side chain signal into the Eiosis ELS Vocoder (v1.6) but appear to be having some problems! I haven't used this plugin for a while and the side chain options seem to have changed in recent updates.

Previous versions used to have a side chain window with a "drop down" menu to select the desired track, now it appears I have to place a "side chain plugin" onto the carrier track first - but I can't find the side chain plugin anywhere - it simply isn't available in my plugin list.

Could any one please shed any light on this for me? I have tried contacting Eiosis support but I now remember from previous attempts that there support is famously rubbish and I'm not getting any reply!
