Brands that I've worked with and would trust: Sennheiser is always top for me, followed closely by Shure and Trantec. That's not to say that the other brands aren't any good, it's just those are the ones I've worked with and had no problems with.
Then you're looking at around £250 for a moulded set of ear buds, but you might want to try some of the off the shelf ones. My ears can't seem to hold off the shelf ear buds in for any length of time so I had to get moulded, but you can save yourself a bit of money if your ears are ok with them
Of course, you can get cheaper wireless transmitters, and they work fine for the most part, but on a personal level I've had difficulties with them in the past, and so I tend to recommend the more expensive options. Of course, the more expensive ones should last a good long while
If you want to go wired, you can get a stereo belt pack for around the £150 mark and you won't have any interference from anything, but then you are tethered. As a drummer and guitarist, I'm always in one place, or already have a cable trailing around after me, so I go for the easy wired option
Hope that helps.
