Mesa TA-15 or Egnater Rebel 30?
      27/06/11 07:12 PM
I really am having trouble deciding between these two amps. I set out looking for a lower wattage replacement for my orange rockerverb 50 head. I'm looking for something small but reasonably powerful I can use in the studio and at small venues too.

I've tried the ta-15 and I do really like it, the egnater I've only heard demos but from the reviews and such it seems like it might be just right. I'm looking for a fender like clean sound with lots of headroom and a second channel with loads of gain. The ta-15 doesn't really have enough gain for metal unlike my orange.

Does anybody have any experience of either amps they could use to help sway me? Or perhaps a third option?

My only issue with the mesa is it only has 8 ohm and 4 ohm outs and my cab is 16 ohms.
