Do you get your IECs pat-tested?

Well ... do you?* One council run music space I work at has the once a year bloke who plods round and tests equipment AND IEC leads. When I take my racks or amps to the sparky however, they never test the leads. Or at least they don't label any lead separately from whatever it was connected to.

WhatS your experience and opinion on this rather grey area?



*Disclaimer - Yes, I am aware that pat-testing, despite all myths to the contrary is not at present a legal requirement (just to cordon off that little thread cul-de-sac. )
