Oh by the way, you don't mention the others in the band, but one other rule of the thumb people talk about is the 'in the room' method. Anyone who is in the room when the song is being written gets an equal share of the PRS.

Many bands have split up over these sort of issues, particularly when the non-songwriters realise how much more money the songwriters are making.

Hasn't done much for the Gallagher brothers' relationship either!
