Pro Tools on PC?

I'll soon be replacing my aging PC with a new computer, most probably a PC built by one of the music computer specialists. I'll be continuing to use Cubase at first but intend to move over to Pro Tools eventually. So... I'm wondering how solid/reliable Tools (9 or 10) can be on a PC. I've heard it said that PT just never works reliably on a PC! Anyone had relevant experience?
